Year 2017
The UK Prevention Research Partnership (UKPRP) was launched on the 18 May. There will be up to £50 million available for prevention research – prevention of non communicable diseases and health improvement. Third sector organisations should get involved as funding is contingent on research partners being involved with the research from the beginning through to implementation. There will be guidance shortly on the first round of proposals in 2017 initially to  fund consortia of research organisations and research users to develop candidate research proposals. The UK Health Forum is on the UKPRP expert group so we will endeavour to keep you posted.
