UKHF response to government childhood obesity plan

The UK Health Forum is disappointed that the government has failed to adopt the comprehensive package of evidence-based measures recommended by Public Health England to effectively tackle childhood obesity. 
The sugary drinks levy and reformulation programme are a welcome step, but reducing marketing and price promotions of unhealthy foods are key actions that are missing from the strategy.
