Call for cases: Public-Private interactions in nutrition-related non-communicable diseases: Lessons from research, policy and practice

Year 2016
Multisectoral initiatives such as public-private interactions have been proposed to achieve UN and WHO goals on nutrition-related non-communicable diseases. However, these public-private interactions may give rise to a range of ethical challenges, including conflicts of interest. This Casebook will focus on public-private interactions involving the for-profit commercial sector. It will aim to raise awareness and support action to strengthen the governance of these interactions and prevent conflicts of interest.  Cases documenting both positive as well as negative experiences are encouraged, as are submissions from low and middle income countries. Cases may be submitted from other risk factor areas where they offer transferable lessons for nutrition-related NCDs.
