National Voices and Strategic Partners Programme calls on the government to reconsider the ‘anti-influencing clause’
Date15 February 2016
Year 2016
Responding to the government plans for an ‘anti-influencing clause’ in all grant funding agreements, National Voices and the Strategic Partners Programme (SPP) have written to the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, urging him not to implement the clause.
The current plans, outlined in a Cabinet Office Statement, would restrict organisations that receive government grant funding from advising ministers, and potentially from helping to shape any future government policy.
