Date13 July 2015
Year 2015
Summary
The UK Health Forum welcomes the new report from the British Medical Association. The report is a timely call to action from doctors to tackle poor diets and obesity among children in the UK.

Jane Landon, deputy chief executive of the UK Health Forum said: “The Government has indicated it will introduce a new strategy to tackle child obesity in this Parliament. This report identifies the range of measures, including regulation of marketing and promotions, that are needed to address the wide availability, promotion and affordability of unhealthy food and drinks which is driving the current crisis in children’s diets.”
