UKHF responds to NICE consultation on disability, dementia and frailty in later life - mid life approaches to prevention
Date08 September 2014
In a joint effort with Public Health England, the UKHF produced the Blackfriars Consensus on promoting brain health and reducing risks for dementia.  A key recommendation of the statement is for the development of national policy guidelines to translate the evidence on preventing and reducing the risk of dementia into practice, in order to aid implementation.  UKHF therefore warmly welcomes this comprehensive set of draft guidance and recommendations to support the prevention of dementia in mid-life.
