The UK Health Forum has developed a briefing to provide an overview of the public health challenges and opportunities in relation to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) post Brexit.  We reviewed EU laws, regulations and policies to determine their impact on health, covering areas such as environmental and consumer protections; food, including fisheries and agriculture; alcohol; tobacco; and trade movements and deals.  We have provided specific examples to highlight potential risks to health, and potential improvements which can be made as a result of Brexit for protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of the public.
