Abstract
This report aims to provoke thought around how we can actively manage our health and reduce the risk factors associated with many serious diseases. The report puts healthy living behaviours into four categories: walking, eating, sleeping, and talking, easily remembered by the mnemonic WEST. The report looks at how to change behavioural patterns to initiate long term (rather than short term) lifestyle changes.
