Abstract
'The UK is currently facing a childhood obesity epidemic, with almost 1 in 5 children leaving primary school obese' RSPH.

The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Report highlights calls to action.  Actions recommended by them include: scrapping the 'fat letter' to primary school parents, introducing a 'daily hour' of fun and play in primary schools, restricting junk food advertising, ending junk food sponsorships at sporting events, introducing a 'sugar tax' on sugar-sweetened drinks, and improving the training given to health workers.
